VICE reported April 21, 2026 that Vampire Crawlers was available Day One for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers and listed PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch as platforms where the game could be played. The report called Vampire Crawlers a spin-off from the creator of Vampire Survivors and a dungeon-crawling roguelike deckbuilder with card-based combat, returning characters and shared world elements. Noisy Pixel described Vampire Crawlers as The Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors on Nov. 4, 2026. Poncle founder and CEO Luca described the game as marrying an old grid-based dungeon concept with fast card-playing mechanics, saying, “To some people this game will look like a “blobber”,”.

VICE described Vampire Survivors as a 2022 roguelike shoot ’em up that spawned a subgenre of fast-paced, always firing shoot ’em ups. VICE explains that picking a Crawler starts a dungeon run where players build decks of attacks and utilities, then fight fast card battles. Early indicators suggested the game has the same addictive gameplay loop that helped make Vampire Survivors a breakout hit, though there were not enough reviews yet for a clear consensus.
