Arc System Works and PlayStation Studios have detailed the remaining additions for the first year of downloadable content for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. The new roster includes Phoenix Cyclops, Thor (Jane Foster), Venom, and Jubilee. This announcement took place during the EVO France 2026 tournament in Nice, an event where Zando was named the first champion of the title.
The DLC rollout begins on November 2, 2026, with the release of Phoenix Cyclops. Following this initial drop, the schedule moves into 2027 with a staggered series of character launches. These updates provide a predictable content cycle for the tag-team fighting game.
2027 character roadmap
Thor (Jane Foster) is slated to join the playable roster during winter 2027. The character’s theme will be composed by Keiichi Okabe, who is recognized for his musical contributions to the Nier franchise. This addition brings another reimagined Marvel hero to the game’s alternate-universe roster.
In spring 2027, Venom is scheduled to arrive. This release will also feature the introduction of a Klyntar stage to the game. The inclusion of this environment expands the available combat locations alongside the new character.
Jubilee is expected to be the final character of the Year One cycle, with a projected release in summer 2027. This completes the announced group of characters intended to expand the game’s competitive and casual appeal.
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is currently playable on PlayStation 5 and PC via the Epic Games Store and Steam. The developer’s structured roadmap aims to maintain player interest through regular updates to the character pool.
