Xbox added a licence-history tool within its Disc to Digital system (which lets players convert disc-based games to digital licences), enabling users to check if a digital licence tied to a disc has been removed from their account, Pure Xbox reported.

Pure Xbox reported that to view the licence‑history page, go to the official Play.Xbox website, open Settings, choose Manage Games, and click Disc to digital licence history. The licence‑history lists games that can no longer be accessed through disc to digital licensing.

Pure Xbox reported that this occurs if the user no longer has the qualifying disc. Should a user lose, sell, give away, or otherwise lack the qualifying disc, the related disc to digital licence may be limited or revoked.

Pure Xbox reported that users can regain access by retrieving the disc and launching the game while signed in. Or they can get a fresh digital version from the Microsoft Store to regain access.
