The Jordan Esports Federation and King Hussein Business Park signed a memorandum of understanding in Amman on November 1, 2026, with Jordan Esports Federation President Prince Omar bin Faisal present at the signing.

King Hussein Business Park announced the memorandum on Sunday, November 1, 2026, in a statement published on its own website. The agreement aims to develop Jordan’s esports industry and establish King Hussein Business Park as a centre for business, innovation, technology and esports. King Hussein Business Park’s statement, dated November 1, 2026, says the agreement deepens strategic ties between the two organisations, supports growth of Jordan’s esports industry, and cements the park’s position as a destination for business, innovation, technology and esports.

Under the memorandum, the two organisations will work together to stage specialised competitions and events at the King Hussein Business Park campus, and will welcome international delegations and official guests for those events. The memorandum gives the federation a formal framework to run more tournaments and events at the venue it already uses as its base.

Cooperation also covers media and marketing activities, joint educational, training and community programmes, and the sharing of knowledge and expertise. Both organisations will use the park’s facilities and resources to develop joint programmes and support the continued growth of Jordan’s esports sector, with an aim to support young talent and increase participation in Jordanian esports.

Jordan Esports Federation Vice President Hazem Bawab said the partnership is a significant step in developing the esports industry in Jordan and in raising the level of local, regional and international competitions. “This partnership is a significant step in our drive to develop the esports industry in Jordan,” he said. He added that the sides look forward to drawing on King Hussein Business Park’s setup and capabilities to scale their work and nurture young talent.

King Hussein Business Park Chief Executive Officer Eng. Ammar Ezzeddin said the deal builds on efforts to create an enabling environment and to make the park a hub for innovation and technology. “This partnership builds on our ongoing efforts to create an enabling environment for institutions, initiatives and high-potential sectors,” Ezzeddin said. He presented the memorandum as part of the park’s wider ambitions to help the sector thrive and to put Jordanian talent in the spotlight.

The Jordan Esports Federation is the government-recognised regulator and official governing body for esports in Jordan. It was established in 2019 as a committee and became a federation in August 2023, and it is based at King Hussein Business Park in West Amman. The agreement therefore builds on an arrangement in which the two organisations already work from the same site.

King Hussein Business Park is a mixed-use business and technology hub in West Amman along King Abdullah II Street, and a major centre for gaming and esports in Jordan, with much gaming and esports activity taking place at THE ARC on the campus. THE ARC, a gaming dome and esports arena on the campus, operates as an incubation centre supported by the federation and backed by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, alongside entertainment and tournament production. It runs training camps for professional esports talent, including camps aimed at players hoping to turn professional.

THE ARC has hosted the fourth Arab Esports League and a Women’s Esports Championship that drew hundreds of female Jordanian gamers. Red Bull Login served as Jordan’s national final stage for Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2, held as a full-day gaming event at THE ARC with zones for PC, console, arcade, virtual reality and sim racing.

In 2024, lounge operator True Gamers announced plans for an esports venue at King Hussein Business Park in Jordan, and its chief product officer publicly thanked the Jordan Esports Federation and Prince Omar. Pocket Gamer Connects Jordan takes place on November 7 and 8 and will bring games industry stakeholders from across the region to Amman.

Neither party has disclosed the financial terms or the length of the agreement.
