Summer Eternal’s debut title is Red Rooster, described as an incendiary, physics‑driven RPG. A physics‑driven RPG uses realistic physics simulation to affect gameplay and storytelling. Red Rooster will launch first on PC, with planned versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Switch 2. No one has announced a release date for Red Rooster.

The developers are building the game in Unreal Engine, using its physics simulation. Unreal Engine is a widely used game development suite that provides tools for graphics, physics and scripting.

The protagonist is Redrick Roost, a white‑collar inmate turned arson investigator partnered with an opiate‑dependent mathematician. A white‑collar inmate refers to someone imprisoned for non‑violent, typically financial, offenses.

The game takes place in the fractalized border archipelago of Arta‑Tantor, a tri‑partite city shown as an alternate‑history world with a strong science‑fiction undercurrent. Fractalized refers to a design that repeats patterns at different scales, creating intricate, self‑similar structures.

The Anthology includes interviews with economists Yanis Varoufakis and Richard Wolff, writer Ted Chiang, former BioWare developers Mark Darrah and David Gaider, and stories from worker‑run groups UVW‑CWA, Aftermath and Peregrine Coast Press. These contributions cover economic theory, speculative fiction, game development experience and labor‑movement perspectives.
