Huss Valley abilities are permanent unlocks tied to Gems or Robux, earned by winning rounds or collecting gems that spawn mid-map. Each ability is role-specific: Runners use Runner abilities, Chasers use Chaser abilities. The community tier list ranks them from S (best) to D (weakest), based on effectiveness and player feedback.
S tier abilities include Emergency Airhorn, Rocket Shoes, and Cloak. Emergency Airhorn (Runner) blasts nearby Chasers and knocks them back, making it useful when surrounded. Rocket Shoes (Chaser) lets Chasers dash forward to close the gap with Runners quickly. Cloak (Runner) makes the Runner disappear for 3 seconds to escape tough situations, though a lucky or predicting Chaser can still land a hit.
A tier abilities include Rufus’s Leash, Inflatable Decoy, and Pocket Door. Rufus’s Leash (Chaser) lets Chasers throw a leash ahead to pull a Runner close. Inflatable Decoy (Chaser) sends a decoy that runs straight ahead, popping when hit, to create distraction. Pocket Door (Runner) lets you place a temporary door in front to block Chasers and gain escape time.
B tier consists of Big Dagger and One Hit Shield. Big Dagger (Chaser) doubles melee reach for the next hit for 5 seconds. One Hit Shield (Chaser) creates a sphere that blocks the next hit, lasting 0.75 seconds.
C tier ability includes Bowling Ball, which lets Chasers roll a ball to trip Runners, potentially stunning them. D tier ability is Bear Trap, which lets Chasers toss a trap up to 10 studs ahead to trap a Runner for half a second.
Emergency Airhorn is one of the best Runner abilities for pushing Chasers away, while Rocket Shoes is the best Chaser ability for closing distance quickly. Gem costs for abilities are: Cloak and Emergency Airhorn at 1,000 Gems each, Pocket Door at 400 Gems, Rufus’s Leash at 1,200 Gems, Big Dagger at 900 Gems, and Rocket Shoes at 850 Gems. For Runners, Pocket Door is the most popular ability because it resets chases in tight corridors. Cloak is highly effective for stealth but requires precise timing.
For Chasers, Rufus’s Leash is widely regarded as the most powerful tool, turning a Runner’s juke into a fatal mistake. Combining Rufus’s Leash with Rocket Shoes makes it nearly impossible to outrun the Chaser. Players should prioritize Rufus’s Leash if struggling to catch Runners, or Rocket Shoes if fast enough but unable to close the final gap.
Abilities are locked once the round begins. Consumables include Banana Peel (Chaser trap), Rescue Kit (Runner revive), and Adrenaline, which boosts acceleration and cornering for 5 seconds. The Alt stop trick is a useful technique for sharp turns in high-speed play.
