On Oct. 20, 2026, Critical Reflex and Mike Klubnika announced Buckshot Roulette for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 without setting a release date.
The game arrived on PC in 2024 and drew critical and popular acclaim on Steam, posting a score of 85 on Metacritic, a review-aggregation site. Sales topped four million copies after release. In April 2024, the title was PC-only soon after its Steam launch, and developers said ports were coming but did not name target devices.
The game pits players against The Dealer in an underworld nightclub using a 12-gauge shotgun for Russian roulette. A match lasts 15 to 20 minutes and includes three rounds against The Dealer in the arena.
The new 4-way multiplayer table supports bargaining, begging, betrayal, and competition as players try to leave rich. Double or Nothing mode lets players press their luck and attempt to survive for as long as possible. Strategic item use can improve odds, and new items arrived with the Steam release.
The price is $2.99, and the Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC releases list at $2.99, £2.49, and €2.99. Before the console announcement, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC players could get the game. Steam, Microsoft Store, and itch.io offered it. IGN’s trailer text adds Xbox Game Pass to the ways to play.
The IGN console announce trailer points to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 as coming soon. It also notes that Steam, Xbox, and Game Pass already offer the game.
The Indie Game Awards nominated it. The Horror Game Awards nominated it.
