Forza Horizon 6 will launch on PlayStation 5 on January 26, 2027. The PlayStation 5 version was developed by Panic Button in collaboration with Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios, and it supports cross-platform play and cross-save with Xbox and Steam versions. The game features over 550 real-world cars, including vehicles added after its initial release on Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store on May 19, 2026.
Owners of the PlayStation 5 Premium Edition will receive early access to the base game starting January 21, 2027, five days before the standard release. This edition, priced at £110, includes the game bundled with VIP Membership, Welcome Pack, Car Pass, Time Attack Car Pack, Italian Passion Car Pack, and both Expansion 1 and Expansion 2, though Expansion 2’s release date remains unannounced. All pre-orders for the PlayStation 5 version—Standard or Deluxe—will include a pre-tuned Ferrari J50 added to the player’s garage after completing the prologue.

The game’s first expansion will release on all platforms on January 21, 2027, alongside a free content update for all players. Cross-platform play and cross-save remain supported, allowing users to share user-created content such as EventLab races, Prefabs, Garages, Estates, liveries, and tuning setups across Xbox, Steam, and PlayStation 5 versions. The PlayStation 5 Standard and Deluxe editions will be available on January 26, 2027, alongside the base game launch.
Forza Horizon 6 initially launched on Xbox Series X|S and PC (via Steam and Microsoft Store) on May 19, 2026, and remains available through Game Pass. The PlayStation 5 version marks the franchise’s latest platform addition, following its debut on other consoles and PC.
