Riot Games deployed Valorant patch 13.09 on October 27, 2026, adding Hush as a new playable Agent and buffing the Warden rifle. {
The patch went live first in North America, Brazil, and LATAM on October 27, 2026, with Europe and the rest of the world following on October 28, 2026. Riot had said a post-Champions Agent was coming but shared no further details before revealing Hush on October 18, 2026, during Valorant Champions 2026. {
Hush is Valorant’s 30th playable Agent and the ninth Duelist in the roster. She hails from Guangdong province and uses telekinesis to close classified cases.
Hush’s passive Telekinesis lets her pick up weapons and the Spike on the attacker side and use switches from farther away. Displacement pulls all players toward the center and concusses those who collide with a surface or another player, resetting every two kills. Flashbulb blinds anyone looking at it when it explodes, while Flow creates an anchor, lets her briefly levitate if airborne, then propels her toward it after a delay. Her ultimate Suspension sends a steerable projectile forward that levitates all players when detonated.
Patch 13.09 introduces Haste and Snapshot as new official buff terminology. Haste means increased movement speed, while Snapshot labels the still-image silhouette reveal debuff seen with Cypher’s Neural Theft and Spycam. Riot said, “This should add clarity to when you receive or refresh a Combat Stim buff, a Haste buff, or both.” The Haste tag now applies to Brimstone’s Stim Beacon, Clove’s Pick-me-up, Miks’ Harmonize, Neon’s High Gear and Overdrive, and Waylay’s renamed Convergent Paths buff.
Riot raised the threshold for the First Blood Accolade to make it harder to earn without affecting historic Accolade counts. A player’s Act Best Match now weighs more heavily on Map Rating each Act. Hush is the debut Agent arriving after Performance Score went live, and Riot says player scores on her may be bumpy in the first few days as the studio tunes what good utility use looks like.
PC players receive scoreboard trade hover text and a learn more screen about Performance Score. Korea-only players can buy Radianite Points directly in the game client.
Clove’s Pick-me-up bonus movement speed decreased from 15% to 10%. Killing Clove after she casts Not Dead Yet gives the killer an ultimate point and a signature refresh point, and she stops earning ultimate charge from kills made during her ultimate. Riot reduced Clove’s abilities further after already nerfing her once, but she still held a high win rate and pick rate.
Riot adjusted the Warden to improve its base versatility and handling for its 2900 credit price. The rifle’s pitch recoil is smoother on the first few bullets, follow-up shot spread was reduced, second-bullet error went from.25 to.2, and third-bullet error went from.6 to.5. Patch 13.06 launched on September 22, 2026, adding the Warden at 2,900 credits alongside the Gauntlet: Glitched mode; the automatic rifle has a 2x scope, 18-round magazine, 6.5 rounds per second fire rate, 50 body damage, 200 head damage, 42 leg damage, medium wall penetration, and 36 rounds in reserve. Riot considered the Warden an underwhelming purchase compared to standard rifles like the Phantom and Vandal before buffing it. {
Riot redesigned ability descriptions and tooltips to show Agent, role, and keybinds at a glance. Passive descriptions now show in more in-game areas, including Agent Select and the Agent Hub, such as Neon’s Battery. Riot removed Jett’s passive from the Buy Menu to match other non-purchaseable passives. Patch 13.09 updated Veto and Vyse’s in-game UI from PICK UP to RECALL.
Patch 13.09 fixed Clove’s Ruse ability map being visible to enemies below her and her Pick-Me-Up timer remaining on the HUD after use. It fixed Cypher’s Cyber Cage changing orientation on angled surfaces, Miks’ M-Pulse and Bassquake lacking controller vibration feedback on consoles, and the PC mouse cursor disappearing outside certain ability map boundaries.
Riot also fixed Deadlock’s Annihilation capture voice line not playing for the captured enemy, Gekko’s Mosh Pit damaging destructible objects outside its intended area, and Omen’s Shrouded Step arrival visual effects ending prematurely. Raze’s Boom Bot continuing to track an enemy’s location after they teleported, Sova’s Hunter’s Fury affecting players positioned behind him, and Tejo’s Special Delivery persisting into the next round were also fixed.
Additional fixes included Tejo’s Guided Salvo targeting an unintended location or failing to cast after a selected target moved out of range, Yoru’s Gatecrash sound effects repeatedly playing when attempting to use the ability while suppressed, and Vulnerable visual effects incorrectly positioned on Gekko’s Wingman, Killjoy’s Turret, and Raze’s Boom Bot. Patch 13.09 fixed Tejo’s Guided Salvo and Brimstone’s Orbital Strike placement indicators initially appearing offset from the player’s position, enemies briefly seeing Chamber’s and Omen’s locations on the minimap after teleporting, and certain abilities belonging to Cypher, Vyse, Viper, and Killjoy being visible to opponents through barriers during the Buy Phase.
It fixed ability map placement consuming several charges or placing abilities at unintended locations, ability map cursors and placement indicators disappearing while equipping or using certain abilities, enemies outside the affected vision range appearing on the minimap while Nearsighted affected a player, ability maps remaining visible instead of consecutive flashes obscuring them, and ability descriptions missing or displaying incorrect information while controlling certain Agent abilities. The update corrected the position of the yellow notification icon on new Player Cards and fixed Neon’s Fast Lane visual effects being invisible to spectators observing the Spike.
