Fortnite Chapter 7 Treasure Hunters mini season goes live on smaller 80-player island

This is a new development in a story we reported earlier: Fortnite Pirate Shop chest prize makes Item Shop free for 14 days. Earlier in this story: Epic Games launches Fortnite Treasure Hunters One Piece crossover on November 1.

Fortnite’s Chapter 7 mini season “Treasure Hunters” is live on November 1, 2026, placing players on an island with warring pirate crews and replacing the previous map with a smaller island limited to 80 players per match instead of the usual 100. Character debuts include Kasane Teto and Monkey D. Luffy.

Beebom reports the island is called Crossbones Isle and shaped like a skull and crossbones, and states that on November 1, 2026, familiar locations are gone from Override and replaced with new and exotic pirate-themed POIs. It holds 12 active points of interest: Rubber Resort, The Chest, Arlong Park, Windmill Village, Loot Lagoon, Lantern Landing, Loguetown, Lil’ Uzi’s Stronghold, Cursed Cavern, The $.$. Rocky, Busy Bay, and Plunder Port. Ten points of interest from Chapter 7 Season 4 are removed: Lifty Lodge, Nightmare Neighbourhood, Freaky Fields, Wonkeeland, Golden Grove, Shaken Sanctuary, Cluster Coast, Sunken Shores, Heatwave Harbor, and Chopped Shop.

Arlong Park is a One Piece structure on the new map, described as a building with weapons and items available. The $.$. Rocky is a battleship-based POI tied to the A$AP Rocky collaboration, featuring mounted cannons and a Choppa for quick getaways. Beebom describes Lantern Town as a point of interest illuminated by dozens of lanterns at night and reports Baratie, the floating restaurant from the One Piece collaboration, joins as a point of interest.

New weapons include Zoro’s Three Sword Style, A$AP Rocky’s Shock Rocket, Usopp’s Slingshot, Bundlebuss Repeater Rifle, and Gilded Dragoon Shotgun. Seven vaulted weapons return: Sentinel Pump Shotgun, Auto Shotgun, Flint-Knock Pistol, Sidearm Pistol, Machine SMG, Tactical SMG, and Hammer Assault Rifle.

Eight vaulted items return: Zipline Deployer, Overdrive Grenade, Slurp Juice, Shield Fish, Jellyfish, Slurpfish, Hop Flopper, and Spicy Fish. New consumable items include Gum-Gum Fruit, Flame-Flame Fruit, Explosive Cannon Ball, Nami’s Tangerine, Meat on a Stick, and Wanted Poster. Meat on a Stick provides immediate healing followed by sustained healing over time.

Gum-Gum Fruit transforms the player into Luffy to stretch, throw rubber punches, perform foot slams, or launch across the battlefield. Flame-Flame Fruit turns the player into Ace, firing rapid shots and finishing with a fiery punch. Nami’s Tangerine restores health and shields while granting a movement boost when moving through water. Wanted Poster tears down from walls to become a Sprite Treasure Map leading to a buried Sprite Chest.

A$AP Rocky’s Shock Rocket is available only in non-Competitive play and uses Shock Rock charges to launch the player airborne before raining rockets. Explosive Cannon Ball is available only in non-Competitive play and players can throw it at opponents or load it into a cannon.

Yahoo Tech reports the mini season runs for one month and ends on December 1, 2026, when the next season possibly starts Chapter 8. New content rolls out weekly: Lil Uzi Vert on Nov. 7, Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto on Nov. 14, and Oscar on Nov. 21, adding sprites, weapons, and other items.

Players can find the Pirate Shop Token in chests and it grants shop access for two weeks, letting players claim any cosmetics. Polygon calls the token the biggest news of the season and reports players have to be both lucky and expert pirates to find it in chests. Opening chests during Treasure Hunting can award a Treasure Hunt prize instead of the usual loot, with prizes ranging from in-match items to account cosmetics.

The Battle Pass includes six new skins: Nico Robin and Portgas D. Ace from One Piece, remixed Jonesy, Cuddle Team Leader, and Charlotte, plus Captain X as the new antagonist. Yahoo Tech reports the rest of the Straw Hats will be released in the item shop over the course of the season.

Yahoo Tech reports a brand-new set of Sprites is available, and the Sprite Mastery Track is making a return this season. It also reports there are no details about live events yet, but teases are expected to begin at some point this season. Mastery Mondays return to double sprite XP and sprite dust, while Saturdays are Captain’s Days featuring the season’s captains. Fortnite Treasure Hunters will receive content updates every week rather than every two weeks.

Beebom reports Lil Uzi’s Stronghold uses a color scheme matching Kawaii Cuddle Team Leader’s aesthetics, and states Nightmare Neighbourhood and Freaky Fields were central to Fortnitemares 2026. The stronghold is part of the Lil Uzi Vert collaboration.
