HoYoverse announces Honkai: Star Rail version 4.7 for November 11

HoYoverse announced that Honkai: Star Rail version 4.7, called Now, Lay Laughter to All Stars, launches November 11 on PlayStation 5, PC through its client download and the Epic Games Store, iOS through the App Store, and Android through Google Play.

Siliconera and MMOBomb describe Aeon ★ Aha as the game’s first playable Aeon and the only new character in version 4.7, with Siliconera calling the debut what might be the first playable Aeon. Polygon reported after the version 4.7 livestream that she is a five-star Quantum Elation character and that the figure called Nihilux is officially Aeon ★ Aha. She follows the Elation path and deals Quantum damage, and her combat relies on building Punchline and Aha Instant attacks. Before becoming playable, Aha appeared as an NPC in the Planarcadia storyline where the Trailblazer and allies met her, and the playable version uses Sparxie’s color scheme instead of her previous original design.

When Aeon ★ Aha is present, the Path of Elation ascends for Elation characters, letting each unlock unique combat abilities. The team continuously builds Wishpower for her during battle, and a full Wishpower bar triggers an Ultimate that deals Elation damage to all enemies. Empowered by Aeonic Authority, allied attacks can directly lower enemy maximum HP. She headlines the new Aha Instant feature, which fast-forwards Elation Skill performances.

Version 4.7 adds the Affinitive Eidolon growth system, which lets players unlock new abilities and combat capabilities for owned characters after unlocking their matching special Eidolons. Acheron, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, and Jing Yuan are the first characters enhanced by Affinitive Eidolons, gaining exclusive combat buffs, new abilities, animations, and art, and they anchor the second version 4.7 banner. Players can claim one special Eidolon free at login on November 11 and two more by spending Star Rail Special Passes or Fashion Invites, making all three obtainable, and they receive one of the three characters free at the start along with related upgrade materials. Players also receive the Golden Companion Spirit and the five-star character Jiaoqiu free.

The first version 4.7 banner features Aeon ★ Aha alongside reruns of Silver Wolf LV.999, Sparxie, and Yao Guang. In the story, Planarcadia hosts a final performance to decide fate’s course, with Aeon ★ Aha directing the universe-wide show and starting the final Phantasmoon Games. She fights the awakened leviathan Voracity alongside the Trailblazer in a showdown that determines the universe’s destiny. The Voracity had been sealed by Aha’s Phantasmoon Games for more than a thousand Amber Eras and now nears complete awakening, and Aha summons eight Supplicants to stage the Final Phantasmoon Games as part of a hunt to stop it from regaining strength and consuming the universe.

The Starfroster, a sweet cake-like ship, sails across the starry sea to serve as the stage for the grand finale directed by The Laughter, luring the Voracity. A new song titled Ex Nihilo plays during Aeon ★ Aha’s grand performance for the Planarcadia arc finale, and the animated short A Joyful Funeral Beneath the Moon debuts on the day version 4.7 launches. The Fluffy Movie: Overheated event lets players help Aeon ★ Aha run a dessert shop to earn Gold Coins, while the new Interastral Peace Gala: Road to Fame combat event runs alongside the other version 4.7 content. Currency Wars receives its second season, Voyage Into the Canvas, as a comprehensive update to the permanent gameplay, and Phantasia Showstage offers a chance to earn Aeon ★ Aha’s limited Star Lotto outfit and other rewards.

HoYoverse gave out version 4.7 livestream codes for Stellar Jade and upgrade materials. The codes expire Oct. 31 at 11:59 a.m. EDT / 8:59 a.m. PDT.

Version 4.6 launches September 29, 2026, after the Aventurine alt banner ended September 28, 2026. It featured the IPC unit Pearl as its one confirmed unit.
