Sony’s PlayStation Blog announced on November 6, 2026, that Hozy will be available on PlayStation 5 starting November 9, 2026. The blog frames Hozy as a cozy home restoration game about cleaning and renovation.

tinyBuild and Come On Games will release Hozy on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch in 2026. The game first appeared on Steam on March 30, 2026. The console plan surfaced in September 2026, ahead of the PlayStation Blog’s confirmation of the PlayStation 5 date.

The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series editions launch on November 9, 2026, with Sandbox Mode, New Game Plus, and the Hideaways downloadable content pack included from day one. Gaming Ideology says, “Unlike its initial debut on PC in early 2026, the console version of Hozy arrives with several significant content updates already integrated.”

A Nintendo Switch version remains in development for later in 2026, but tinyBuild has not finalized a specific date. The official Xbox store lists Hozy for a November 9 release.

Hozy drew more than 250,000 wishlists on Steam ahead of its initial PC launch in March 2026. Gaming Ideology reports the title became a viral success on PC before moving to current-generation consoles.

Sony’s PlayStation Blog describes Hozy as a stress-free cleaning and restoration loop without timers, scores, or pressure. Hozy offers nine unique levels set in Littleville, each offering a distinct atmosphere and story, and players tidy and renovate before furnishing with curated furniture and decor. Players can use tools including a mop and a crowbar, open a window, switch on a lamp beside a sofa, play the piano, or find secret messages in one of the drawers.

Once the nine-level story ends, Game+ mode lets players return to restored rooms with day and night switching and alternate furniture arrangements, some transforming beyond recognition. Sandbox mode unlocks all items for combining, matching, duplicating, and customizing rooms, such as wallpaper, background color, window shape, support beams, and light switches.

On PlayStation 5, the game uses haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and the DualSense controller’s built-in speaker to produce vibrations, resistance, and tool sounds during renovation. Sony’s PlayStation Blog says every surface, object, and instrument in the game produces its own unique sound. The blog notes that music shifts as the player advances through a level and recommends headphones or a home cinema system.

Hozy offers support for 11 languages and visual and control accessibility settings including tool movement speed, camera inversion, and color display adjustments. Hozy runs on PlayStation Portal, which the PlayStation Blog suggests for comfortable sessions.

tinyBuild plans seasonal events and downloadable content, both free and paid, after launch. The announcement ties post-launch support to Game+ and Sandbox modes.

The free Hideaways pack adds Chic Condo, Tech Studio, and Greenhouse to PC, featuring new cleaning mechanics, a hub, music by Yann van der Cruyssen, and Sandbox items. Players can access all levels right after finishing the tutorial level in the main game. Gaming Ideology describes Chic Condo as a modern high-rise apartment, Greenhouse as a nature-focused space that calls for plant care, and Tech Studio as a messy workspace for repairing electronics.

tinyBuild says Hideaways lets players meet the characters living in the three new spaces and discover the little details that make each place unique. One mechanic lets players mow the lawn to turn a garden into a fairy-tale setting, while removing old rugs reveals a preserved parquet floor. The pack also features new music by Yann van der Cruyssen for each level in day and night, and Gaming Ideology notes that the composer’s credits include the adventure game Stray.

tinyBuild’s overview says players renovate and decorate abandoned homes while restoring rooms and the memories and stories of a community. Key features listed by the publisher include swaying plants, candles that can be lit, and trash that tumbles realistically in and out of the bin. tinyBuild says players match wall colors and flooring using a palette of harmonized tones and can rotate, move, and place items freely from a curated designer collection.

gaming-insider.de reports that the PlayStation Blog does not list the PS5 price, any PS Plus inclusion, or the exact store unlock time for release day. The outlet adds that the blog does not say if Hozy includes solo or multiplayer modes. gaming-insider.de reports that Sergey Smirnov, a Product Marketing Manager at tinyBuild, wrote the announcement.

gaming-insider.de places Hozy within a visible PS5 cozy and indie niche where readers look for alternatives to AAA action titles, marked by no time pressure, no combat, short sessions, and meditative reward. The outlet notes that tinyBuild has built a portfolio of smaller, often cooperative or relaxing games and regularly appears at industry events with curated showcases. gaming-insider.de explains that when its article appeared, Hozy had not yet launched on PS5 and had not been editorially playtested, so the outlet could not assess gameplay feel, implementation quality, or how its calming feel compares with the PC version.
