AdHoc Studio announced that Dispatch will launch on iOS and Android on December 9, 2026, timed to the game’s first anniversary.
The first four episodes will be free-to-play on mobile, while unlocking the remaining four episodes requires a one-time $19.99 purchase. AdHoc described the mobile release as a free-to-play entry point for the first half of the eight-episode story, with a single purchase covering the rest. Noisy Pixel and Shacknews said Google Play pre-registration and App Store pre-orders will open soon before the mobile launch, while Beebom reported that pre-orders are already available.

The mobile port is rebuilt for touch controls and vertical play, and it will support Google Play Games on PC. On mobile, it keeps the standard horizontal view and adds a vertical layout built for touch controls that is exclusive to phones. Dispatch originally released in October 2025 and follows Robert Robertson, a former superhero who manages a team of reformed villains across an eight-episode story. Aaron Paul voices Robert Robertson, also known as Mecha Man, and the cast includes Laura Bailey, Erin Yvette, and Jeffrey Wright.
Noisy Pixel and Polygon reported that Dispatch passed five million players in its first year, while Inven Global said AdHoc shared a figure of more than five million copies sold in an exclusive Variety interview. The AdHoc Studio team has doubled in size since the October 2025 launch.
Commentary Mode and Storyboard Mode come free with the Deluxe Edition on every supported platform. Upgrading from Standard to Deluxe costs $10.99 and adds a digital art book plus four digital comics. The modes arrived starting October 22, 2026, and add no new gameplay, consisting only of behind-the-scenes materials. AdHoc released the modes ahead of the anniversary to give players insight into development.
Commentary Mode includes over 16 hours of cast and crew commentary across two tracks featuring Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey, and Erin Yvette, with tracks changing based on in-game choices. Players can toggle between voice actor or developer commentary, and the commentary adapts so players cannot hear it all in a single run. Storyboard Mode lets players experience the entire game through original storyboard animatics, and players can enable commentary during it. The mode presents rough animatics in different stages of completion, and the two modes work simultaneously.
Dispatch: Night Shift, a one-night concert, is scheduled for December 3, 2026, at Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles, and is described as an in-person, live entertainment experience. Doors open at 6 PM PT and the show starts at 7 PM PT. Andrew Arcadi will play Dispatch’s original score live, with soundtrack artists Thot Squad, Bershy, Primer, Caroline Kingsbury, and Fartbarf performing tracks from the game and their own albums.
Tickets are extremely limited, with AdHoc Studio email subscribers receiving first access and pre-sale tickets going live on October 28th with a two-per-person limit. Most tickets are standing-room only, VIP tickets include tables, and the concert will not be streamed online. AdHoc had never produced a concert before and is working with Banter Events on the show, which had been in the works since January 2026.
New merchandise is coming, including shirts, hoodies, and signed posters featuring artwork by art director Derek Stratton, plus physical editions of the four comics. The Dispatch Anniversary collection includes physical Deluxe Edition comics, apparel, posters, and vinyl slipmats. The first thousand orders on the official AdHoc store include a limited edition collector’s card. Lost In Cult is publishing Dispatch: Design Works, a hardcover making-of book with a collectible box; Beebom listed a 2027 launch, while ComicBook.com reported that no price or release date exists.

Beebom reported that Dispatch: The Album will debut in Q4 2026 in Prime and Astral vinyl editions featuring Andrew Arcadi’s original score and licensed tracks. ComicBook.com said the Dispatch vinyl starts shipping in the middle of November.
A Physical Dispatch Deluxe Edition is planned for Holiday 2o26, including a 16-page pocket guide called SDN’s Guide to Dispatching, a two-sided Mecha Man poster, and a soundtrack code styled like a Lenart Terminal disc. AdHoc is hosting a giveaway from October 22, 2026 through November 22 on the game’s official Discord and Reddit platforms to award merch boxes and digital codes.
