CD Projekt Red adds five Witcher 3 items to Cyberpunk 2077

CD Projekt Red’s Update 2.5 added five Witcher 3-themed items to Cyberpunk 2077 when it launched on Oct. 22, 2026, on PC, Mac via Steam, GOG and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with Nintendo Switch 2 and Mac App Store versions arriving shortly afterward. The Witcher 3 crossover gear includes the Sihil Sword, an iconic weapon with ancient writing along its shaft and spiky rivets across its edge, and the Boar Carver, a small knife resembling the blade Geralt uses to collect trophies from beasts. The Ursine Jacket and Ursine Pants take their design from the Bear School armor. GamingBolt and IGN say players buy The Professor’s Spectacles at an auction during the Open Sesame! main quest, while Beebom places them in Arianne’s free package, leaving the acquisition method unresolved. <|delta|>

Beebom reports that players speak with Arianne, advance the in-game clock by 24 hours and wait for her second message before the free package arrives at V’s original apartment in Megabuilding H10, Little China, Watson District. Opening the Stash there grants the Sihil Sword, Boar Carver, Ursine Jacket and Ursine Pants, and players can photograph V in the gear and send the image to Arianne for 4,300 Eddies. Choosing the [SEND TO SPAM] option during the first conversation blocks the gear entirely, and players with mods active may need to disable them to receive the package. Update 2.5 introduces dual-wielding through a new Cool-tree perk called Double Trouble and four auxiliary perks, letting V wield two Power-category handguns at once. The patch adds new dual-wielding poses in Photo Mode alongside frames from the Cyberpunk Trading Card Game. A new radio station, HKGN 102.0 FM, plays tracks from both seasons of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime. Two new side quests arrive with the update. Clampdown, a prequel to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 that awards a five-piece gear set based on the character King, unlocks after players complete The Heist and two gigs for Wakako, then wait for her message. Bug fixes address a Nintendo Switch 2 save error, PlayStation 5 HDR settings, a stuck Delamain cab, inactive Film Grain and V crouching when tagging enemies during scanning. CDPR had previously ruled out traditional downloadable content for Cyberpunk 2077, so Update 2.5 arrived as a surprise and signals ongoing support even as the studio develops Cyberpunk 2 and The Witcher 4. The patch coincides with the Netflix premiere of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, an anime season set after the game’s events that follows new characters in corporation-ruled Night City and features a cameo by Hideo Kojima. Some fans point to The Witcher 3’s upcoming Songs of the Past expansion, arriving 12 years after the base game, as evidence that Cyberpunk 2077 could still receive an expansion of its own.
