The Nintendo Switch eShop chart dated October 24, 2026 places Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in the top position.
The 2018 fighting game climbed from fourth place to claim the top spot without a new release, edition or renaming. Nintendo Everything said, “We have a new #1 this week, which is Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.” Its rise coincided with the start of Nintendo’s Screaming Deals promotion on October 20, though no outlet reports a definitive cause for the jump.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse fell to second place after holding the No. 1 position the previous week. The Konami title launched on October 15, 2026, after a playable demo arrived on October 1 with progress transferable to the full game.
Minecraft holds the third position on the weekly ranking, and Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream occupies fourth place. Final Fantasy Resonance entered at No. 5 during its debut week on the chart, and its Digital Deluxe Edition appears at No. 8.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse Midnight Edition appears at No. 19 as a separate store listing, while the standard edition leads the download-only sub-chart. Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest holds two positions, with the standard edition at No. 28 and the Feral Edition at No. 9.
Persona 5 Royal sits at No. 13, Animal Crossing: New Horizons at No. 15, Nintendo Switch Sports at No. 12, and Red Dead Redemption at No. 29. GoNintendo published a separate Switch eShop chart for October 24, 2026 in a different order, with Minecraft Dungeons II at No. 30. Mario and Pokemon each appear five times in the top 30 and together hold one-third of the list. Six franchise families account for eighteen of the thirty positions.
The weekly ranking has rotated among catalog revivals and new launches over the past month. A Ground News aggregation said Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 took the No. 1 spot on September 26, before Castlevania debuted at the top on October 17.
The chart tracks the original Switch eShop and excludes Switch 2 eShop sales. Nintendo maintains a separate storefront for Switch 2 software, which launched on June 5, 2025.
The standard Switch 2 system’s U.S. suggested price increased from $449.99 to $499.99 on September 1, 2026, while the original Switch price remained unchanged. Nintendo’s Screaming Deals sale began on October 20 and ends on October 31 at 11:59 p.m.
“None of the outlets covering the chart publish unit sales, revenue or percentage changes,” Unixgaming said. The eShop chart is a ranking rather than a sales report, so specific copy counts for any game are unknown.
